I don’t know about you, but I’m always on the hunt for a good book and love sharing/hearing about new reads! That’s why I thought it would be fun to round a few of my favourites from summer and share with you my fall reading list.
I’ve always been an avid reader and love getting lost in a really captivating novel! Disclaimer, I usually tend to only read fiction books so I don’t have a lot of non-fiction suggestions unfortunately! I do try to incorporate some from time to time, but to be honest, it’s got to be a real eye-catching topic for me to pick!
We Were the Lucky Ones – I flew through this book! It’s centered around a Polish family in WWII and actually based on a true story. I highly recommend this book. It was an incredible story.
How to Stop Time – I read this book pretty quickly and would say it’s a fairly easy read. It’s about a 41 year old man who has actually been alive for over 400 years! It’s a fun read which I think is even being made into a movie!
The Book of M – This is a post-apocalyptic novel with a creative spin! I generally really enjoyed this novel, although I’m still not so sure how I felt about the ending.
Next Year in Havana – This is a Reese Witherspoon book club pick and I loved it! I really enjoy her book club and find that her books do not disappoint! I highly recommend following along each month or using it as a resource.
Alright, next up are my fall reads, which are as follows:
- The Last Mrs. Parish – Another Reese pick 😀
- The Seven Death of Evelyn Hardcastle – Not out till mid September!
- Girl, Wash Your Face – A non-fiction read 💁🏼♀️
- Something in the Water – Another Reese pick from over the summer I haven’t had a chance to read yet
- The Dark Between Stars – A new book of poetry by Atticus – I love his collections!
Sidenote – A great resource that I use religiously when it comes to choosing books is a website called Goodreads! I always look them up here and love seeing their ratings and reviews!
